Large Scale EigenSolver in OptiStruct

HyperWorks 12.0 introduced a new Large Scale EigenSolver called Automatic Multilevel Substructuring Eigen Solver (AMSES) in OptiStruct. AMSES is a very efficient and modern solution to run many complex noise and vibration analyses, such as frequency response, transient response, and CMS Super Element creation.

Cooper Standard Speeds Development of Next-Generation Pumps with Altair’s AcuSolve CFD Solver

In designing new pumps for this type of system, CAE Engineer Tom Lincoln uses computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software to simulate the flow of coolant through the device. AcuSolve, the sophisticated CFD solution within Altair’s HyperWorks suite of CAE tools, transformed the capabilities and creativity of the Cooper Standard unit. Cooper Standard ends up with a better product faster as a result of employing AcuSolve to design a pump that will improve passenger comfort in a battery- powered electric vehicle

Still Unsure About What Process Structure Interaction Is And How It Can Benefit You?

HyperWorks 12.0 Brings New Levels of Speed, Simplification and Strength to Engineers
