This short video will guide you through the non-linear implicit capabilities in RADIOSS. The example shows how to create a plastic material and corresponding shell properties, setup boundary conditions and imposed velocity, setup and run the analysis and review the results of bending of a plate.

Optimization using OptiStruct – Featured Training Class

This is an introductory course for using OptiStruct for optimization in the product design process. Students will learn optimization concepts and do hands-on exercises for topology, topography, size, and shape optimizations. This two day, hands-on course features:
- Topology, topography, size and shape optimization concepts
- Linear static and normal mode analysis with OptiStruct prior to optimization
- Pre- and post- processing for OptiStruct using HyperMesh and HyperView
- Topology optimization with manufacturing constraints
- Combined topology and topography optimization
- Shape generation using HyperMorph which is a part of HyperMesh
- 2D and 3D shape optimization
- 1D and 2D size optimization

RADIOSS for Linear Analysis Featured Training Class

Static and Normal Modes Analysis This is an introductory course for using RADIOSS to solve static linear problems. This is a one day training with focus on understanding how to solve structural problems using a high level finite element solver, the theoretical and practical aspects of these problems are presented to provide the attendees a very good base to start using RADIOSS on their own models.

A basic knowledge of finite element analysis. A basic knowledge about Pre and Post processing finite element models.

HyperView Introduction – Featured Training Class

Results Visualization and Data Analysis for Finite Element Analysis
This is an introductory course for using HyperView to post-process finite element solver results and to analyze test lab engineering data.
This one day, instructor led course includes:
- Basic interaction with HyperView
- Animating results in the animation window
- Results visualization: contour, deformed, iso surface, tensor and vector plots
- Results manipulation: tracing, tracking, querying, measuring data, and creating section cuts, notes, and derived load cases
- Creating XY curves using data files and math functions
- Modifying XY plots and curve display attributes
- Interrogating and modifying XY curves
- Translating results
- Presenting Results
- Creating BMP, JPEG, TIF, AVI files and HTML files

HyperMesh Introduction – Featured Training Class

This is an introductory course for using HyperMesh to create and set up finite element models for analysis. A combination of lectures and exercises will familiarize students to the HyperMesh environment, process, and suite of tools needed to start using HyperMesh in their work. This course is combined with the HyperView Introduction course.

This is an introductory course designed to use hands on exercises to teach and communicate the process for solving multi-body dynamics (MBD) problems using HyperWorks. This three day, instructor led, course includes:
- MBD model building techniques and strategies
- MBD model editing and checking
- Perform linear analysis on MBD models

- CAD Import and Contact Simulation
- Flexible Body Generation and Flexible Body Dynamics Simulation
