Two University of Stuttgart racing teams recently reported exceptional results from employing HyperWorks tools to simulate vehicle design and reduce the weight of their cars prior to vehicle construction.

The impact of HyperWorks is evident in the victories earned by the Stuttgart teams.  In 2011, the Rennteam was rated number one in the Formula Student world rankings and has won 10 single competitions since 2005.

The GreenTeam, with 37 teams participating in the electric category in 2011, placed second in Italy and currently holds third place in the overall worldwide rankings list for the electric competition.
